Trevor has spent the last few years viewing the urban environment and recording his observations with colour photography. There are a wealth of fascinating subjects in the cityscape which are only likely to be revealed to those prepared to look a little closer at their surroundings. Scenes which might be ignored or appear ordinary to the unobservant can in fact be rewarding and entertaining in their own right. Some of his images reveal a kind of urban beauty, whilst others offer the viewer a more humorous outlook.

Ultimately, the environment in which people live is determined by their active and passive interaction with it. Elements of human behaviour, history and memory will encourage the more perceptive viewer to look at life in the city from a slightly different perspective.

More recently Trevor has been experimenting with images of buildings and places to produce more abstract elements in the compositions.

All subjects have been photographed as found, without any interventions or subsequent manipulation of the images.
